Following its official rebranding from i-Sihat Group, the newly minted Mediwira Group has launched an accelerated growth strategy, setting a long-term target of 100 outlets across Malaysia by 2030. The group aims to scale its network to at least 25 locations before the end of this year—a near 50% surge from its 2025 baseline, to capture a share of a national healthcare market projected to reach USD 30 billion by 2027.

The strategy kicked off in Johor with the unveiling of the new brand and the simultaneous launch of a new medical clinic, with a specialized medispa set to follow next month. This brings Mediwira’s current national footprint to 21 outlets across the Klang Valley, Johor, and Sabah, operating a multi-disciplinary network of 12 dental clinics, 7 medical clinics, and 2 medispas.

Gracing the launch event, YB Tuan Hassan Abdul Karim, Member of Parliament for Pasir Gudang, noted that decentralized medical groups are essential to handling rising chronic diseases and an aging population. "The private clinic space has become increasingly vital," YB Tuan Hassan stated. "It bridges the gap between the public healthcare system and the upper tiers of healthcare specialists. It is here that I believe Mediwira will contribute significantly."

Established in 2012 by founding doctors Nandagobala, Ratna, Mok Chi Chien, and Lavan, the group has treated over 500,000 patients in its 14-year history. Its current ecosystem provides comprehensive family dental care, general medical practice, and doctor-supervised, medical-grade aesthetic treatments, with clinical psychology services slated to join the pipeline next.

"Our half a million patients represent half a million times a patient has trusted us," said partner Dr. Nanda, explaining the identity shift. "We chose the name Mediwira to embrace our roles as healthcare heroes, symbolizing our commitment to quality care."

To anchor its corporate scaling with community responsibility, Mediwira also initiated its 'Food Aid' CSR program at the launch, providing RM120 worth of essential groceries to 15 underserved local families. The program commits to supporting at least 10 families every month moving forward. To support its rapid multi-state expansion, Mediwira Group is actively exploring corporate partnerships and collaborations.
