vivo Malaysia has announced the launch of its "Shoot Beyond What You See" Challenge, a nationwide photography campaign that will take place from 3 to 31 August 2026 in conjunction with Malaysia's 69th Merdeka celebration. Announced in Kuala Lumpur on 29 July 2026, the campaign invites Malaysians to celebrate the nation's rich diversity, heritage, and shared identity by capturing iconic landmarks from unique and unexpected perspectives.
Powered by the vivo X300 Ultra and the vivo ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 Ultra, the challenge showcases the smartphone's advanced imaging capabilities through a real-world photography experience. Offering an impressive focal length range of 400mm to 8100mm, the vivo ZEISS Telephoto Extender Gen 2 Ultra enables users to capture distant landmarks with exceptional clarity.
Participants are encouraged to visit a location of their choice and photograph a well-known Malaysian landmark from afar. They can then share their images on social media using the hashtag #MyPerspectiveofMY while tagging the location where the photo was taken.
Inspired by the spirit of "One Malaysia", the campaign encourages participants to rediscover the country's iconic landmarks from fresh perspectives. From capturing the PETRONAS Twin Towers and Genting Highlands in a single frame to photographing Merdeka 118 from a distant vantage point, the challenge aims to inspire creativity while showcasing Malaysia through the eyes of its people.
Alongside the campaign, vivo Malaysia is offering exclusive SPayLater promotions at participating vivo Concept Stores in Penang, Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, and Johor Bahru. Customers can enjoy six months of 0% instalment plans, a RM100 rebate with a minimum purchase of RM1,000, as well as a Coin Bonanza offering up to 10,000 coins.
