KUALA LUMPUR, 7 AUGUST – Institut Jantung Negara (IJN) has confirmed that former Prime Minister YB Dato’ Sri Ismail Sabri Yaakob successfully underwent a leadless pacemaker implantation procedure this afternoon to address an abnormal heart rhythm. The procedure was carried out at IJN as part of his medical treatment, with the institution confirming that the procedure was successful.

Following the procedure, YB Dato’ Sri Ismail Sabri has been advised to get adequate rest as he continues his recovery.
