Since its establishment, Anugerah Juara Lagu (AJL) has aimed to nominate the best song of each year. Music and AJL have been aligned throughout the organization, which celebrates the diversity of musical genres. In addition, AJL is also a platform for Malaysian musicians to highlight their talent and creativity as well as an intermediary connecting fans with their favorite singers who have witnessed the evolution of AJL for 38 years.
AJL is an annual factory event awaited by music fans! This year, AJL 38 will be the most iconic AJL ever to be talked about. It's going to make the hard-hearted fans reclaim AJL's popularity and continue to celebrate the young talents that collaborate with the senior singer.
This year, AJL 38 sets out the theme of 'MUZIKAVERSE', a combination of the two words MUSIC and MULTIVERSE, where we combine the different worlds of singers, lyricists, and composers in creating a new work of songs.
The Award Night compares two iconic charismatic lawyers, Sherry Alhadad and Alif Satar. The Red Carpet was hosted by Fizi Ali and Fiza Frizzy which aired on TV9 at 8.30 p.m.
AJL 38 watched 12 songs come together to embrace the titles of first place, second place, third place, best vocal, and best performance. Audiences can also vote for two categories: Best Performance by voting at www.tonton.com.my/AJL38 and Alha Alfa Choice Singers by simply scanning the QR codes listed on the TV glass.
AJL 38 opens the curtain with a very energetic performance with a girl band concept that combines two vocalists, namely Shila Amzah and Vanessa Reynauld, and for the second time, an opening performance with international and local medley songs. Sissy Iman as a keyboard player with three very talented young musicians, namely Naimi Daini (drums), Tasneem Bolhasan (bass), and Anis Kalisa (guitar). Ticket sales for AJL 38 have begun from February 5, 2024, to March 3, 2024, on the website www.tonton.com.my with sales exceeding 8000 tickets in the front seat category, limited to only 200 tickets sold out in 48 hours.
