HONOR has once again proven its dominance in the smartphone industry as the HONOR X9 Series has been officially recognized as the Top-Selling Mid-Range Smartphone Series by ASEAN Records, an esteemed organization that celebrates remarkable achievements across Southeast Asia. This recognition highlights the exceptional performance of the HONOR X9a, X9b, and X9c models, which have consistently captivated Malaysian consumers with their quality, innovation, and value.

ASEAN Records, widely known for its credibility in documenting regional milestones, acknowledged HONOR’s outstanding success in redefining the mid-range smartphone category. The award not only reflects HONOR’s commitment to innovation and product excellence but also demonstrates the growing confidence and loyalty Malaysian consumers have shown toward the brand.

The award presentation took place during the HONOR X9d 5G Roadshow held at IOI Mall Puchong, where Gillian Ooi and Eldrick Koh, Managing Directors of ASEAN Records, presented the accolade to Tan Pei Ling, Head of Channel Sales at HONOR Malaysia. The event marked another proud milestone in HONOR’s journey, underscoring its continuous pursuit of excellence within the region’s competitive tech landscape.

Since making its debut in Malaysia in 2022, the HONOR X9 Series has established a strong reputation for its durability, performance, and advanced technology. Its success is evident in its growing market share, which surged from 33 percent in 2023 to an impressive 56 percent in 2025. Today, one out of every two mid-range smartphones sold in Malaysia belongs to the HONOR X9 Series, solidifying its position as a clear market leader.

Adding to its list of achievements, the latest addition to the lineup, the HONOR X9d 5G, has already made headlines by selling out during its pre-order phase, surpassing the record set by its predecessor, the HONOR X9c. With its official nationwide sales launch beginning today, the X9d 5G is poised to further strengthen HONOR’s foothold in the mid-range segment.

The HONOR X9d 5G is now available across Malaysia, offering 24GB RAM (including 12GB HONOR Turbo RAM) and 256GB storage for RM1,499, while the 512GB variant is priced at RM1,699. Every purchase comes with a complimentary gift bundle worth RM946, which includes a HONOR Watch 2i smartwatch, a 365-day Front and Back Crack Protection, a 1-Year Extended Warranty, and a 1-Year Liquid Damage Protection Warranty.
