Yes (by YTL Communications), in collaboration with HONOR Malaysia, has announced a joint Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative valued at RM40,000 to strengthen the digital capabilities of Hospis Malaysia, a leading provider of community-based palliative care. As part of the initiative, Yes provides free 5G connectivity with uncapped data and speed, while HONOR contributes 20 units of the HONOR Pad 10 5G. This combination enables Hospis Malaysia’s multidisciplinary clinical teams—including doctors, nurses, pharmacists, and rehabilitation therapists—to stay connected during home visits, remote consultations, and coordinated patient care, ensuring timely, efficient, and compassionate support for patients living with life-limiting illnesses.

The HONOR Pad 10 5G tablets are equipped with eye-comfort displays, AI writing tools, long-lasting battery life, and smooth performance, making them ideal for healthcare professionals documenting clinical notes and reviewing patient details on the go. With Yes’ high-speed 5G network, clinicians can instantly access patient records, document updates in real time, consult colleagues remotely, reduce travel time, and improve care coordination for patients and families. Furthermore, the devices are set to receive a firmware update in Q1 2026 to support Yes’ newly activated 5G Advanced pre-6G technology, ensuring future readiness.
