– The Hunan–Malaysia collaboration demonstrates a holistic approach to regional partnership by combining tourism promotion, trade engagement, and industrial matchmaking. Following the launch of the “Let’s Go Malaysia” series, the Hunan–Malaysia Cultural, Trade & Tourism Expo will extend this effort offline in Johor from 31 July to 2 August. The event features culinary carnivals, Malaysia–China cultural performances, investment forums, and educational programs, creating a multi-dimensional platform for economic and cultural synergy.

This initiative facilitates Chinese enterprises entering the Southeast Asian market while introducing Malaysian businesses and products to China. By leveraging both media amplification and business matchmaking, the collaboration establishes a sustainable model for cross-border integration across tourism, trade, and cultural sectors. It represents a new era of diversified and strategic cooperation, strengthening the bilateral relationship between Hunan and Malaysia and enhancing Johor’s position as a prime destination for tourism and investment.
