HONOR Malaysia announces the launch of the Magic Stories Awards 2026, accompanied by a nationwide photography workshop tour that aims to showcase Malaysia’s diverse culture, breathtaking scenery and unique everyday stories. The initiative encourages photographers to use HONOR smartphones to capture and share Malaysia’s beauty with a global audience. It also plays an important role in supporting the Visit Malaysia 2026 campaign by merging technology, creativity and community participation.

The awards programme invites entries across six key themes, including cityscape, people and culture, nature, food, hidden gems and animals. A total of 21 winners will be honoured, highlighting outstanding storytelling through mobile photography. The grand prize winner will receive a flagship foldable smartphone, while two winners in the Master of Photography category will each receive the HONOR Magic8 Pro. Three Prestigious Photographers will be awarded the HONOR 600 Pro, and 15 HONORable Photographers will receive the HONOR 600. Submissions run from 27 April to 15 September 2026, with results announced in October 2026.


Winning photographs will be displayed at exhibitions, shopping malls nationwide and on HONOR’s digital platforms. Selected winners will also advance to the global stage of the competition. The photography workshop series will run from 9 May to 11 July 2026 across seven destinations, including Penang Hill, Kelantan, Pahang, Genting Highlands, Sabah, Perlis and Sarawak, offering participants immersive photography experiences.


Through these workshops, participants will explore various photography styles while utilising the HONOR 600 Pro. The programme is supported by CelcomDigi, providing seamless connectivity for participants to stay connected and share their work.
