HONOR has officially introduced the HONOR MagicPad 4 to the Malaysian market, bringing a new level of productivity and versatility through its innovative Android + Linux Dual-OS ecosystem. Designed to meet the needs of professionals, students, developers, and content creators, the tablet combines powerful performance, intelligent multitasking, and exceptional portability in a premium lightweight design.

As remote work, hybrid learning, and AI-driven workflows continue to shape the digital landscape, users are increasingly looking for devices capable of delivering both mobility and desktop-grade productivity. The HONOR MagicPad 4 answers this demand by seamlessly integrating the convenience of a tablet with the functionality of a PC-like working environment.

The HONOR MagicPad 4 is now available nationwide through HONOR Experience Stores and HONOR’s official online platforms, including HONOR.com, Shopee, Lazada, and TikTok Shop.

Customers can choose between two configurations. The flagship 16GB RAM + 512GB storage model, available in Grey, is priced at RM3,999 and comes bundled with a HONOR Smart Touch Keyboard, HONOR Magic Pencil 4s, and a 2-Year Worry-Free Quality Assurance Plan. A limited-time RM400 instant rebate lowers the price to RM3,599, while offering benefits worth up to RM1,617.

Meanwhile, the online-exclusive 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant, available in Grey and White, retails at RM3,399. With the same RM400 rebate, customers can purchase it for RM2,999 and enjoy complimentary accessories and benefits valued at RM1,517.

One of the tablet’s most notable innovations is its Android + Linux Dual-OS capability. Users can effortlessly switch between Android for everyday communication, entertainment, and productivity tasks, and LinuxLab for more advanced technical and development-related workloads.

LinuxLab supports both Ubuntu and Debian environments through a secure container-based architecture, providing users with a stable and dedicated Linux workspace. Shared file access via the tablet’s designated directory allows seamless movement of files between Android and Linux environments, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.

The MagicPad 4 also expands its capabilities with support for AI agent deployment through OpenClaw within LinuxLab. This allows users to explore AI-assisted workflows such as research management, task automation, content organisation, and information processing directly on the tablet.

For students, this means attending virtual classes in Android mode while simultaneously leveraging LinuxLab to generate study notes, organise research materials, and create summaries using AI tools. As a result, the MagicPad 4 serves as a portable platform for AI experimentation, learning, and productivity.

Developers can also take advantage of LinuxLab’s support for Python development, Node.js projects, Android APK compilation, scripting, software testing, and automation. Familiar Linux utilities, command-line tools, and popular coding platforms such as Visual Studio Code, Cursor, and Claude Code are fully supported, enabling users to develop and test projects wherever they are.

To further enhance productivity, HONOR has collaborated with leading software partners to deliver a desktop-like experience. Beginning this July, users will gain access to the PC version of WPS Office, offering a more comprehensive interface for documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.

Content creators will also benefit from CapCut Pad support, which introduces advanced editing capabilities such as timeline-based editing, layered controls, multitasking functions, and a larger workspace for professional-grade video production.

The HONOR MagicPad 4’s advanced PC Mode takes multitasking to another level by supporting up to 20 active windows simultaneously. Users can efficiently manage multiple applications, browser tabs, communication tools, and documents at the same time, closely replicating the experience of working on a traditional desktop computer.

Despite its extensive capabilities, the MagicPad 4 remains highly portable. Measuring just 4.8mm in thickness and weighing approximately 852g with its keyboard and stylus attached, the device is ideal for users who require productivity while travelling, studying, working remotely, or creating content on the go.

HONOR has also strengthened cross-platform integration, particularly for Apple users. Features such as wireless Mac display extension, seamless file sharing between iPhone and tablet, and improved cross-device collaboration enable users to enjoy a more connected and efficient workflow across different operating systems.

With its unique Dual-OS innovation, AI-ready capabilities, developer-friendly environment, and PC-level productivity features, the HONOR MagicPad 4 positions itself as one of the most versatile tablets available in Malaysia today.
