In a steadfast commitment to community empowerment, vivo Malaysia has launched the vivo X300 Ultra Youth Creator Awards. Under the visionary directive "Born to Create," this nationwide initiative champions young local talent by providing a platform for creators aged 17 to 28 to showcase their unique perspectives through smartphone imaging. Running from 8 June to 15 July 2026, the campaign features an open call from 8 to 21 June where participants can submit short-form videos based on three relatable themes: Everyday Life, Explore The World, and Pet Diarie. Following this initial round, five exceptional creators will be shortlisted and equipped with the flagship vivo X300 Ultra to craft a brand-new cinematic story for the finals between 29 June and 12 July 2026.
To ensure young creators are equipped with premium tools, vivo is showcasing its latest advanced imaging technology, led by the flagship vivo X300 Ultra and the accessible vivo X300 FE. Co-engineered with optics pioneer ZEISS, the Ultra variant delivers a professional-grade mobile setup featuring a 200MP Portrait Mode ZEISS APO Super Telephoto Lens with Gimbal-Level OIS, full-range 4K 120fps recording, and a dedicated Pro Video Mode. Meanwhile, the lighter X300 FE serves everyday vloggers with a 50MP ZEISS Super Telephoto Camera and Dual-View Stage Video, making it ideal for capturing campus culture and live concerts. To kickstart this skill-building movement, vivo partnered with JPM Museo and FoneRewards to host an immersive workshop on 4 June 2026, training local youth in advanced storytelling using a visually rich backdrop of over 140 limited-edition supercars.
Underscoring its focus on sustainable talent cultivation, vivo Malaysia is offering extensive, long-term support to its winners. Selected winners will be appointed as official "vivo Experience Officers," granting them brand collaboration opportunities alongside a 1-Year Exclusive Access to vivo’s devices. Community prizes include the new vivo X300 FE for the grand prize, a 3D2N Redang Island Tour Package for the second prize, a vivo Watch GT2 for the third prize, and vivo TWS 3e earbuds for three winners via the Best Campus Creator Awards. Local youth can join the competition using any smartphone device for the open submission phase by crafting an original short film above 1 minute in length. To participate, creators must publish their video publicly on TikTok, Instagram Reels, Xiaohongshu, or Facebook, ensuring it creatively features vivo branding elements without containing rival logos or watermarks. To complete the entry process, participants must follow the vivo Malaysia Facebook Page, join the Official Community, tag vivo Malaysia, and include the official campaign hashtags: #vivoX300Ultra, #ZEISSCinematics, #BornToCreate, and #X300UltraCreator.
