| New 76-inch dye-sublimation printer with an 8-printhead architecture and optional Jumbo Roll supports higher throughput and production stability |
SUBANG JAYA, 1 July 2026 – Epson has expanded its industrial printing portfolio with the introduction of the SureColor F20030 (SC-F20030), a high-performance dye-sublimation textile printer designed to support the growing shift towards digital textile production in Southeast Asia. As manufacturers increasingly adopt digital printing to meet demand for customised products, shorter production runs and faster turnaround times, the new printer aims to help businesses improve productivity while maintaining consistent print quality across high-volume operations.
The launch comes as the region's textile industry continues to embrace digital transformation, particularly in high-growth sectors such as sportswear, home textiles and footwear. Compared to traditional screen printing, digital dye-sublimation offers greater flexibility, faster production cycles and the ability to handle customised orders more efficiently. These advantages are driving more print service providers and manufacturers to invest in advanced digital printing technologies to remain competitive in both domestic and export markets.
Building on the success of its predecessor, the SC-F11030, the new SC-F20030 features an advanced eight-printhead architecture powered by Epson's PrecisionCore MicroTFP technology. The upgraded configuration enables production speeds of up to 306 square metres per hour at 600 x 600 dpi while delivering consistent, high-quality output across long production runs. The printer is designed for businesses that require high throughput, reliable performance and precise colour reproduction in demanding production environments.
To maximise operational efficiency, Epson has equipped the SC-F20030 with several intelligent features, including an integrated dual-sided drying system that helps reduce ink transfer and media wrinkling during printing. The printer also incorporates a dust-reduction mechanism to minimise nozzle clogging and maintain stable print quality. A bulk ink supply system with 10-litre UltraChrome DS ink packs and hot-swap functionality allows operators to replace empty ink packs without interrupting production, reducing downtime and supporting continuous operation.
The printer also simplifies maintenance through user self-repair capabilities, enabling operators to replace selected components such as printheads and anti-drying caps without waiting for service support. Combined with optional jumbo roll and jumbo reel units capable of handling media loads of up to 300 kilograms, the SC-F20030 is designed to support longer production runs while reducing manual intervention and improving overall workflow efficiency.
With the launch of the SureColor F20030, Epson continues to strengthen its commitment to supporting Southeast Asia's evolving textile printing industry. By combining higher productivity, operational reliability and sustainability-focused features, the company aims to help textile manufacturers and print providers meet growing market demand while improving efficiency and reducing production costs in an increasingly competitive digital printing landscape.
