HONOR is set to expand its tablet portfolio in Malaysia with the upcoming launch of the HONOR Pad 20 and HONOR Pad 20 Pro. Ahead of the official sales announcement on 24 August 2026, the HONOR Pad 20 Series has already been recognised by leading drama streaming platform iQIYI as the Top Choice Tablet for an ultra-immersive entertainment experience.
The new tablet series combines a 3K display, long-lasting battery, advanced eye-comfort technologies and immersive audio to deliver an enhanced experience for entertainment, work, study and everyday productivity.
The HONOR Pad 20 Series is designed for Malaysians who enjoy watching dramas, movies and online content on a larger screen. Both models feature a spacious 12.1-inch 3K display and a six-speaker surround sound system, providing an immersive viewing experience for Chinese dramas, movies, YouTube and social media.
The large display is especially suited for drama fans who want to enjoy every detail of their favourite shows, including popular titles such as Zhang Ling He’s Pursuit of Jade and Overdo.
For extended viewing sessions, HONOR has equipped both models with a range of Eye Comfort technologies. These include Chip-Level AI Defocus Eye Protection, DC Dimming, Dynamic Dimming, AI Circadian Display and Hardware-Level Low Blue Light.
The series also features Motion Sickness Relief Display technology, which is designed to make viewing more comfortable while travelling. According to HONOR, the feature can help reduce discomfort by up to 89%.
The HONOR Pad 20 Pro introduces an additional Paperlike Display, which delivers a more paper-like viewing experience through a non-reflective screen. HONOR says the display can eliminate 99% of ambient light, making it particularly suitable for reading, note-taking and extended work sessions.
The HONOR Pad 20 Series also comes with a massive 10,100mAh battery, giving users the freedom to spend more time watching, gaming, browsing and working without frequent charging.
A fully charged battery can provide up to 71 days of standby time, nine hours of video playback or seven hours of gaming. The HONOR Pad 20 supports 45W wired fast charging, while the Pad 20 Pro supports faster 66W wired charging.
Audio is another key highlight of the series. Both tablets feature six speakers and spatial audio support, delivering richer and more immersive sound for movies, dramas, music and games.
The HONOR Pad 20 Pro further enhances the audio experience with DTS Ultra, Hi-Res Audio and IMAX Enhanced certifications. The standard HONOR Pad 20 supports Hi-Res Audio and Hi-Res Wireless Audio certification.
Beyond entertainment, the HONOR Pad 20 Series is designed to support work, study and everyday productivity. HONOR is bringing flagship AI productivity features previously introduced on the HONOR MagicPad 4 to the new tablet series, making smarter productivity tools available to more users.
Performance is handled by Qualcomm chipsets, with the HONOR Pad 20 Pro powered by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4, while the HONOR Pad 20 comes with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3. These platforms are designed to deliver smooth performance for multitasking, productivity and everyday use.
The HONOR Pad 20 Series marks the first time the HONOR Number Series introduces a Pro tablet model, with the HONOR Pad 20 Pro bringing the brand’s first Paperlike Display to the lineup.
Full specifications, availability and pricing for the HONOR Pad 20 Series in Malaysia will be announced on 24 August 2026. Consumers can follow HONOR Malaysia’s official social channels or visit the official HONOR Malaysia website for the latest updates.
